摘要: Learning transfer is the ultimate goal of any training programme. The new Malaysian skills based on dual learning principle in which trainees alternate between attending theoretical classes institute and receiving on-the-job at worksite. This paradigm better known as National Dual Training System (NDTS). main problem that there were complaints from employers competencies output Malaysia are poor quality. was due to low absorption performance places workplace. Apart little studies related effectiveness no acceptable way mean measure transfer. aim this study ascertain whether did occurred automotive mechatronics NDTS research focus area Mechatronics Automotive course. A longitudinal method employed methodology. participants coaches utilised self-administered questionnaire, semi-structured interview, group case study. Measuring 16 factors Transfer Inventory (LTSI) plus 3 derived literature review expert discussion enable researcher determine relationship factors. It found programme appears have facilitated positive near situation workplace environment. findings multiple regressions result suggest predictive variables explained 43.9% variance has significance effect Apparently, most influential dimensions revealed course content, delivery working tasks.
