摘要: It is argued that, contrary to the spirit of many damage models, there no simple correlation between fracturing a brittle microcracking solid and change its effective elastic moduli. Physically, absence such explained by fact that fracture-related properties (like stress intensity factors) are determined local fluctuations microcrack field geometry whereas constants volume average quantities, relatively insensitive fluctuations.
