摘要: This paper examines the following question: given a collection of man-made shapes, e.g., chairs, can we effectively explore and rank shapes with respect to human body—in terms how well candidate shape fits specified body? Answering this question requires identifying which are more suitable for prescribed body, alter input geometry better fit body. The problem links physical proportions body its interaction object geometry, is often expressed as ergonomics guidelines. We present an interactive system that allows users using different avatar poses, while, at same time providing previews user-specified pose. achieve by first constructing fuzzy shape-to-body map from ergonomic guidelines multi-contacts geometric constraints; then, proposing novel contact-preserving deformation paradigm realize reshaping adapt shape. evaluate our method on collections models categories validate results through user study.
