摘要: Abstract The present paper reports on investigations dealing with electrochemical reactivation of expanded graphite (EG) electrodes exhausted by oligomer products phenol electrooxidation. considered was carried out in KOH solution potentiostatic method at the potential −1.5 V. efficiency reactivation, estimated cyclic voltammetry technique comparing activity original EG and reactivated examined during renewed oxidation phenol, found to be strongly influenced concentration solution. highest observed for sample after its 2 h −1.5 V 4 M KOH. A deep cathodic reduction EG/oligomer composite under mentioned conditions enables multiple ensuring progressive improvement towards process analysis FTIR XPS spectra supported data BET surface area investigated samples allows concluding that both physical chemical interactions active hydrogen, generated covering are responsible enhancement electrode.
