摘要: The effectiveness of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) against HIV acquisition depends on treatment adherence; however, within-person associations between levels PrEP adherence and engagement in condomless sex have not been well studied. In the context a demonstration project, 372 men who with received once-daily completed six study visits over 48 weeks. Two-part growth mixture modeling was used to examine longitudinal trajectory anal intercourse (CAI) self-reports adherence, controlling for relevant covariates. Over time, greater contemporaneously associated both higher likelihood engaging any CAI number acts. Substance use also CAI. Contemporaneous self-reported suggest that behaviors may be motivated by desire mitigate risk infection; exact directionality is unknown.
