摘要: Abstract Simultaneous adsorption and degradation of organic dyes from wastewater by one material offers a substantial advantage when fast, facile, robust purification is essential. Herein, we present cucurbituril capped magnetic nanoparticles intercalated montmorillonite as highly recyclable dual-functional nanocomposite. Iron (II, III) oxide are synthesised using simple co-precipitation method with cucurbit[6]uril followed intercalation into pre-exfoliated lamella. The morphology crystallite phase were investigated FE-SEM XRD. FTIR DR-UV spectroscopy was used to examine the functional groups composition before after clay. Each component in nanocomposite owes definite importance towards pollutant removal wastewater. offer facile recovery induce catalytic function for fenton like activity. Cucurbituril plays dual role acting binder between stabilise act adsorbent. Montmorillonite versatile adsorbent good solid support nanoparticle immobilisation which improves pollutant-catalytic site interface. synergetic effect components found be very effective treatment. activity has been treatment dye contaminated water reaction also adsorption.
