摘要: Autophagy is an evolutionarily conserved intracellular degradation process in which cytoplasmic components are captured double membrane vesicles called autophagosomes and delivered to lysosomes for degradation. This has indispensable role maintaining cellular homeostasis. The rate at the dynamic turnover of takes place via autophagy autophagic flux. In this review, we discuss about orchestrated events process, transcriptional regulation, some major human diseases like cancer, neurodegeneration (aggrephagy), pathogenesis (xenophagy). addition, non-canonical roles protein secretion, thus demonstrating multifaceted processes.
