摘要: This study explored gender differences in the effectiveness of translated VOICES (Video Opportunities for Condom Education and Safer Sex) intervention on condom use intention, perceived benefits barriers to use, self-efficacy, HIV/AIDS knowledge among Chinese students a US university. We utilized pretest/post-test quasi-experimental design recruited 67 at local Participants viewed 20-min video with subtitles, attended one 25-min small group discussion interactive educational activity. Female participants showed significantly greater mean scores comparison male participants. also reported higher than five items self-efficacy item. These results provide important information developing more differentiated strategies specific HIV STI education programs.
