摘要: In this study, the electronic structures of A-site layer-ordered double perovskite YBaCo2O6 and YBaCo2O5.3 epitaxial thin films were investigated by x-ray photoemission spectroscopy (PES), absorption (XAS), magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) measurements. The valence band PES spectrum film exhibited a finite density states (DOS) at Fermi energy (EF), while that no DOS EF, corresponding well with metallic insulating transport properties, respectively. Co L-edge XAS measurements revealed ions in are mixed state high-spin (HS) Co3+ (50%) intermediate spin (IS) Co4+ (50%), HS (80%) Co2+ (20%) coexist YBaCo2O5.3. XMCD led to conclusion both IS contribute ferromagnetism YBaCo2O6.
