摘要: Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) is one of the most widely known composite manufacturing technique liquid molding family, being extensively studied and used to obtain advanced materials comprised fibers embedded in a thermoset polymer matrix. The fibrous reinforcement considered porous medium regarding its infiltration by resin. In this sense, chapter aims briefly discuss multiphase flow heat transfer theory RTM process, focusing on multifluid model Control Volume/Finite Element (CV/FE) method. Finally, computational analysis was developed basis ANSYS CFX® PAM-RTM commercial software’s for investigation fluid molding. order show versatility performance codes, experiments were carried under distinct injection pressure fiber volume fraction conditions using plain-weave glass cloth as media. transient numerical simulations provided information about fraction, velocity distribution phases (resin air) inside
