摘要: Studies were designed to identify the TCTEX1D4 interactome in human testis, with purpose of unraveling putative protein complexes essential male reproduction and thus novel functions. is a dynein light chain that belongs DYNT1/TCTEX1 family. In spermatozoa, it appears be important sperm motility, intraflagellar transport, acrosome reaction. To contribute knowledge on function testis yeast two-hybrid assay was performed which allowed identification 40 interactors. Curiously, another chain, TCTEX1D2, identified its existence demonstrated for first time spermatozoa. Immunofluorescence studies proved TCTEX1D2 an intra-acrosomal also present midpiece, suggesting role cargo movement Further, silico profile revealed most interacting proteins not previously characterized ones described very broad nature. This reinforces as capable variety functionally different proteins. These observations collectively deeper molecular understanding spermatozoa function.
