摘要: Abstract Angiotensin II binding activity of rat brain particles was examined using [ 125 I]-angiotensin (0.1–0.3 n M ) in the presence and absence excess unlabelled angiotensin II. Certain features suggested that physiological receptors were involved. The temperature dependent increased 3-fold by addition 0.5 EDTA. appeared specific as judged inhibition with agonists antagonists. “specific” saturable, two-thirds reversible occured high affinity. equilibrium dissociation constant ( K d 0.9 . Subcellular fractionation studies indicated over 90% associated particulate matter concentrated crude microsomal fraction. Binding localized to midbrain, thalamus, septum, hypothalamus medulla. Very low levels found cortex, hippocampus striatum. lateral septum had highest all tissues examined. Subdivision medulla showed area postrema medullary regions ventral this organ.
