摘要: Gestural interfaces have lately become extremely popular due to the introduction on market of low-cost acquisition devices such as iPhone, Wii, and Kinect. Such allow practitioners design, experiment, evaluate novel interactions for new smart environments. However, gesture recognition algorithms are currently appanage machine learning experts which sometimes leaves AmI dealing with complex pattern techniques instead focusing prototyping ambient interactions. To address this problem, we propose GPWS (Gesture Profile Web Services), a service-oriented architecture (SOA) designed assist implementation gestural interfaces. By providing web service, leverage easy fast adoption various platforms environments through simple service discovery composition mechanisms. We discuss two designs based SOA 1.0 2.0 standards, analyze their performance, demonstrate gesture-controlled home application.
