摘要: Persistent chest pain has been reported to be a relatively common complaint after operations through median sternotomy approach. We report case that we believe represents sternal syndrome resulting from sensitivity nickel in the stainless steel wires. In view of high incidence general population, question whether such may involved similar poststernotomy syndromes when any other clear-cut pathophysiological process is not apparent.
