BEING SLOPPY ABOUT SLOPE: THE EFFECT OF CHANGING THE SCALE

Due to ubiquitous use mathematical software, this seemingly simple question shown lead some subtle issues that are not usually addressed in school curriculum. In particular, we present evidence there exists much confusion regarding connection between algebraic and geometric aspects slope, scale angle.
