摘要: A submersible probe for monitoring of phenolic compounds at large sample/instrument distances is described. specially designed device, comprising a tyrosinase enzyme electrode coupled to 50-ft long shielded cable (via environmentally sealed connectors), used. Challenges associated with the adaptation electrodes remote sensing are addressed. Variables relevant field operations explored and discussed. The combination biocatalytic recognition amperometric transduction offers highly selective measurements micromolar concentrations substrates in untreated river groundwater samples. concept seems suited other via judicious selection biorecognition element.
