摘要: This study is concerned with potential modifications of large fat cells from adult rats (400–450 g) that make them resistant to stimulation by glucagon. The lipolytic capacity and 125I-labeled glucagon-binding capability these were compared properties small glucagon-sensitive young (130–160 g). As determined maximal theophylline, dibutyryl cAMP, or epinephrine, the was not markedly different cells, which suggests an alteration contributing glucagon insensitivity present in enzymes involved hormone-mediated lipolysis. Glucagon-binding studies did indicate a difference between two cell types. Both particulate fractions bound less than small-cell particles. That diminished binding consequence degradation indicated similar amounts degraded both decrease as marked response stimulation. lack correlation relationship elevated phosphodiesterase levels described accompanying report suggest explains only part resistance found cells.
