摘要: Avian retroviruses are able to induce malignant diseases, such as sarcoma, carcinoma and leukemia well non-malignant e.g. anemia or autoimmune diseases. In the field of cancerology, avian have contributed greatly elucidate some oncogenic processes. One main breakthrough was reached when it shown that diseases through action cell-derived nucleotide sequences (referred oncogenes) either transduced in genomic RNA, activated by viral promoters (1,2).
