摘要: We studied the effect of egg size on chick growth in chinstrap penguin under natural non-manipulative, conditions. The influence mass at hatching, 15 and 45 days age was analysed controlling for hatching date, as date has been repeatedly associated with this species. Egg volume explained 20% variation body chicks hatching. Its disappeared grew, being statistically not significant days. asymmetry also had no role determining chicks' asymmetries.
