Test Procedures for Measuring Soil Liquefaction Characteristics

摘要: The merits and limitations of laboratory simple shear triaxial compression tests, conducted under cyclic loading conditions, are analyzed. In addition the theoretical relationships between stress conditions causing liquefaction in based on several different failure criteria, investigated. Finally data presented for 35 sites where is known to have occurred or not during earthquakes, providing a means evaluating sands field.
