摘要: Forced migrants face particular reproductive health problems. Migrant Burmese women in Thailand often need to work support themselves and their families, mistimed unwanted pregnancies are a common problem. They have limited access culturally appropriate services no safe elective abortion. at risk of deportation or least harassment by Thai authorities if they travel. use traditional methods such as herbal medicines, employ lay midwives provide pummelling stick abortions end pregnancies. This ethnographic study used various collect data over 10 months Tak Province, Thailand. The authors describe the women's motives means ending some difficulties obtaining reliable modern contraception. highlights for care displaced populations.
