New simple route to prepare Dy2Ce2O7 nanostructures: Structural and photocatalytic studies

摘要: Abstract A novel approach of preparing nanostructured Dy 2 Ce O 7 was developed utilizing the simple salt-assistant combustion way. For first time, NaCl as dispersant well mixtures succinic acid and various amino acids fuel capping agent have been employed to produce . In this study, dysprosium nitrate cerium(IV) ammonium were chosen precursors. The grain size morphology may be controlled by alteration kind acid. formation as-synthesized nanocrystalline its elemental composition, shape, structure optical characteristics are analyzed UV–vis, FESEM, FT-IR, XRD, TEM EDS. addition, photocatalytic performance as-produced examined degradation eosin Y dye water contaminant under ultraviolet light illumination.
