摘要: Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an enabling technology that promises to create value through greater visibility in the forestry wood chain network, higher product velocity, more efficient transportation management, improved quality control, and reduced human error. However, it still not clear how these objectives can be fully achieved. In this paper, we propose a real time tracking architecture for implementing traceability system supply based on RFID technology. The proposed will help some specific partners track origin of wood, control information raw material utilization, trace transformation production progress process. also provide managers with meaningful allowing them at different process stages (cutting tree, collecting production, sales, etc.) achieve competitive advantage. solution validated Canadian context demonstrates additional creating sustainable chain.
