摘要: Background and Objective Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is an anticancer modality approved for the treatment of early disease palliation late stage disease. PDT tumors results in generation acute inflammatory response. The extent duration response dependent upon regimen employed characterized by rapid induction proinflammatory cytokines, such as IL-6, activation mobilization innate immune cells. importance cells long-term control tumor growth has been well defined. In contrast role IL-6 unclear. Previous studies have shown that can diminish or no effect on antitumor efficacy.
