摘要: A survey of the already characterized and potential two-component protein sequences that exist in nine complete seven partially annotated cyanobacterial genome available (as May 2005) showed cyanobacteria possess a much larger repertoire such proteins than most other bacteria. By analysis domain structure 1,171 histidine kinases, response regulators, hybrid many various arrangements about thirty different modules could be distinguished. The number is related part to size but also variety physiological properties ecophysiologies strains. Groups orthologues were defined, only few which have representatives with known functions. Based on comparisons proposed phylogenetic relationships between strains, orthology groups show (i) genes, some them clustered genome, been conserved by all species, suggesting their very ancient origin an essential role for corresponding proteins, (ii) duplications, fusions, gene losses, insertions, deletions, as well shuffling, occurred during evolution, leading extant repertoire. These mechanisms are put perspective genetic achieve plasticity. This review designed serve basis orienting further research aimed at defining regulatory understanding how evolution worked select keep appropriate systems develop quite environments they successfully colonized.
