摘要: In South Africa, nurses form the backbone of primary health care (PHC) system. Their well-being is, therefore, paramount importance in effective provisioning services. This paper explores predictors and levels burnout experienced by professional working PHC facilities Free State. The sample comprised 182 rendering antiretroviral treatment (ART) services 361 not ART. Respondents completed a series standardised instruments. Descriptive statistics were calculated stepwise regression analysis performed to investigate relative contribution various stressors variance burnout. High identified. Availability resources, workload conflict at work explain 21% level emotional exhaustion reported nurses. To large degree, results indicate that is significantly affected chronic overload occupational stress.
