摘要: Abstract Critical instruments and buildings demand enhanced blast protection under the environments of increased local conflicts terrorist attacks. There are currently two widely researched measures for protection: energy absorption by cellular materials dispersion V-shaped plates. Although several studies have focused on these individual measures, their combination has rarely been reported. Therefore, in present study, were combined. The resulting aluminum foam sandwich panel with a double face plate, along its anti-blast performance, was numerically analyzed. numerical model validated, then responses different structural designs proposed examined. Finally, parametric analyses performance plated conducted. results indicated that designed could not only disperse impulse but also maintain energy-absorption property core. Gaps should be avoided to prevent acceleration plate. Owing relatively large absorption, eccentric loading did significantly affect face-plated panel. stiffness front back plates must matched properly balance effects achieving optimal performance. This study provides valuable reference designing new protective structures enhancing impact protection.
