摘要: Abstract Homogeneous and vertically aligned silicon nanowires (SiNWs) were successfully fabricated using silver assisted chemical etching technique. The prepared samples characterized scanning electron microscopy, transmission microscopy atomic force microscopy. Photocatalytic degradation properties of graphene oxide (GO) modified SiNWs have been investigated. We found that the morphology depends on time etchant composition. length could be tuned from 1 to 42 µm, respectively when varying 5 30 min. concentration was accelerate process; doubling concentrations increases by a factor two for fixed time. Changes in bundle also studied as function parameters. diameter independent or composition while size with increasing and etchant concentration. addition GO improve significantly photocatalytic activity SiNWs. A strong correlation between parameters photocatalysis efficiency has observed, mainly at optimum 10 min 4:1:8. 92% obtained which further improved 96% hydrogen peroxide. Only 16% 31% observed bare Si GO/bare respectively. results demonstrate developed SiNWs/GO composite exhibits excellent performance used potential platform organic pollutants.
