The Role of Polarity in Inferring Acceptance and Rejection in Dialogue

摘要: We study the role that logical polarity plays in determining rejection or acceptance function of an utterance dialogue. develop a model inspired by recent work on semantics negation and particles test it annotated data from two spoken dialogue corpora: Switchboard Corpus AMI Meeting Corpus. Our experiments show taking into account relative proposal under discussion its response greatly helps to distinguish rejections acceptances both corpora.
