摘要: Weight transfer in the golf swing is considered important coaching literature. However, scientific studies on weight have been conflicting due to a number of limitations. This thesis examined using more trials per golfer, Club Velocity at ball contact rather than handicap indicate performance and events which position was quantified. Also, cluster analysis used identify if different styles exist. In study 1, 62 golfers performed ten simulated drives, hitting into net, while standing two force plates. CP relative feet (CPy%) quantified eight identified from 200 Hz video. Cluster CPy% styles: ‘Front Foot’ style ‘Reverse’ style. Both began with positioned evenly between feet, moved back foot during backswing then forward early downswing. Beyond downswing, Front Foot group continued move towards front contact, Reverse contact. occurred across skill levels professional high golfers, indicating that neither technical error. 2, based relationships parameters for each examined. For group, larger range rapid movement downswing were associated positioning further late 3, individual-based conducted five performing 50 swings under same test conditions. All returned significant but these individual specific. The most consistently related parameter range, significantly all golfers. Nonlinear techniques also explored, Poincare plots returning useful results some conclusion, requires be prior any analysis. Individual-based as well group-based required extract relevant information. Further, use golfer should employed future studies.
