摘要: Scarcity of water is a severe environmental limit to plant productivity. Drought-induced loss in crop yield probably exceeds losses from all other causes, since both the severity and duration stress are critical. Nutritional imbalance under drought conditions depresses growth therefore productivity by affecting nutrient uptake, transport, distribution. Despite contradictory reports on effects supply conditions, it generally accepted that an increased will not improve when already present sufficient amounts soil severe. A better understanding role mineral nutrients resistance contribute fertilizer management arid semiarid areas regions suffering temporary drought. Considering vegetables concentrated zones where frequent, important ascertain how this type affects uptake assimilation these crops. This chapter starts with overview recent literature nutrition stressing mainly availability, accumulation plants, also interactions between response; then proceeds identify means increase availability through breeding, grafting, fertilization.
