摘要: A conductor thermal model related to CIGRE and IEEE solutions was developed compared with measurements. Two pylons of a single line were equipped weather monitoring stations temperature sensors based on Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) principle. Also fiber optic distributed sensing system installed provide additional data. Over 2.5 million data points evaluated. Developed deviation for more than 99% values proved be ±1 C SAW sensor ±3.5 the measurement. Several ampacity determination methods described from transmission grid operator’s point view. Their features in order show at which planning period they could useful. new method dynamic rating proposed. Although it reduces maximum gain, its advantage lies minimizing measurement systems while retaining relatively stable value low risk limit exceeding.
