摘要: Abstract In this work, three different geometrical properties have been considered to develop a new solar concentrator design for Window Integrated Concentrating Photovoltaic (WICPV). They are (i) elliptical entry aperture; (ii) hyperbolic profile section and (iii) square exit aperture. Due the increasing demands stationary concentrators building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV), focuses on use as concentrator. The complete optical analysis of is carried out via 3-D ray trace technique. based all necessary parameters, i.e., axis, height aperture geometry, in order obtain optimal overall performance Four low concentration ratios were investigated: 4×, 6×, 8× 10×. Results computer simulation show that designed 4× ratio gives higher efficiency 68% compared other ratios. however, ratio, despite having lower (55%) than 4×. A prototype was manufactured tested under indoors conditions. experimental results shown an agreement by difference 5% with results. These highlight how factors need be taken into consideration when carrying optimisation studies. Overall, proposed looks promising sound confirm its validate it thereby promote WICPV.
