摘要: Purpose. General practitioners (GPs) can have a significant role to play in the management of individuals with long-term neurological conditions (LTNC). This paper looks at various roles and responsibilities GPs these patients.Method. is based on Medline literature search using key words ‘general practitioner;’‘rehabilitation;’‘long-term;’ ‘neurological’.Results. The findings are broadly divided into diagnostic, supportive palliative roles.Conclusion. lot offer LTNC, but recent changes way they work, especially UK, may hamper their role.
