摘要: In this study, the flow distribution in a planar solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stack with external manifolds is investigated by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique. Three dimensional manifold models are constructed for SOFC composed of 24 cells. CFD simulations air as operating gas implemented two types stacks different inlet manifolds, including three tube inlets (T-manifold) and chamber on top (C-manifold). The influences parameters such channel resistance feeding rate studied. Modeling results indicate that increase lower can respectively improve uniformity factor T-manifold C-manifold from 0.963 to 0.995 0.989 0.998. For given resistance, pressure plays dominant role distribution. addition, generally more uniform than T-manifold.
