摘要: Multidetector row computed tomography (MDCT) with its high spatial and temporal resolution has now become an established complementary method for cardiac imaging. It can be used reliably to exclude significant coronary artery disease delineate complex anomalies, a valuable problem-solving tool. Our experience MDCT imaging suggests that it is clinically useful the pericardium. important aware of normal anatomy pericardium not mistake variations pathology. The pericardial recesses are visible in up 44% non-electrocardiogram (ECG)-gated images. Abnormalities identified increasing certainty on 64-detector CT; they may key diagnosis therefore must overlooked. This educational review will cover different techniques, emphasis MDCT. We have large research clinical ECG-gated CT demonstrate examples recesses, their wide variety abnormalities systemic conditions affecting give brief relevant background reinforce features. aim provide pictorial demonstration pitfalls disease.
