摘要: Whilst musical transients are generally acknowledged as holding much of the perceptual information within tones, most research in sound analysis and synthesis tends to focus on steady state components signals. A method is presented which separates noisy transient from slowly time varying audio. Improvements using adaptive thresholding, multiresolution methods then illustrated. It shown that by analyzing resulting only, current onset detection algorithms can be improved considerably, especially for those instruments with attack information, such plucked or struck strings. The idea applied audio processing techniques enhance decrease strength note information. Finally, extraction algorithm (TSS) time-scaling implementation, where noise analyzed so only regions stretched, yielding considerably results.
