Skills development in higher education in Vietnam

摘要: The purpose of this study is to explore the status quo skills development in universities Vietnam, and identify factors that have impacts on development. A survey 251 department managers was carried out employers' needs. Two other surveys including 717 final-year students 1838 years from four were conducted analyze graduate competencies skill delivery every particular course. Skill are generally below standard, especially interpersonal for effective teamwork. Skills could be effectively developed through group assignments learning approaches such as case studies, discussions, software practice. Understanding course objectives contents can also positively elaborate delivery. In addition school activities, part-time experiences been shown enhance competencies.
