摘要: Abstract We report on studies of the electronic structure Ag2CdSnS4 single crystal grown by horizontal gradient freeze technique. For under consideration, X-ray photoelectron core-level and valence-band spectra for pristine Ar+-ion irradiated surfaces have been measured. The present spectroscopy (XPS) results indicate that surface is very rigid with respect to Ar+ ion-irradiation. In particular, bombardment does not induce any significant changes values binding energies electrons as well energy distribution states within region. change elemental stoichiometry surface. compound, emission bands representing valence Ag d, Cd d S p were recorded compared a common scale XPS spectrum. Results such comparison 3p contribute predominantly in upper central portions band crystal. addition, our data reveal 4d mainly portion at bottom band, respectively.
