摘要: A specific cytogenetic abnormality, an isochromosome 12p, i(12p), has been described in male germ cell cancers (Atkin and Baker 1982, 1983). The incidence of this abnormality stated to be as high 90% (Heim Mitelman 1987), occurring tumors histopathologically diagnosed seminoma, nonseminoma, teratoma (Castedo et al. 1989a,b,c; Bosl 1989; Samaniego 1990). Our investigations i(12p) human cancer provide further support for the diagnostic importance marker. This review presents molecular studies from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center principally concerning chromosome 12 primary metastatic established lines.
