摘要: Abstract This study examined associations between social–emotional intelligence (SEI) and two measures of violence perpetration (relational aggression physical violence) in a cross-sectional sample high-risk adolescent girls ( N  = 253). We evaluated three aspects SEI: stress management, intrapersonal, interpersonal skills. Results multiple linear regression model accounting for participants' age, race/ethnicity, experiences relational victimization indicated that with better management skills were less likely to perpetrate aggression. A parallel showed similar pattern results. Study findings suggest SEI, particular, may protect – including those who have been victims from perpetrating violence.
