摘要: Video adaptation has been considered as a promising technique to tackle challenging problems in pervasive media applications. However, the style of video representation and description current framework is too simple accommodate diversified usages, especially for realtime application environment. In this paper, an intermediate termed intermedia proposed, which generated by off-line pre-processing original signal includes abundant information content. On basis intermedia, novel can be implemented handle multiple The low complexity operations not only level, but also structural joint level. Texture, motion characteristic are included so that number different applications, e.g., bit-rate conversion, temporal resolution reduction, summarization browsing, multi-dimensional adaptation. Experimental results demonstrate support adaptations rapidly while maintaining coding efficiency.
