摘要: Using data from the Center for Oral Health Research in Appalachia Study, we examined variability susceptibility to dental caries among children and adolescents rural Appalachia. Among 210 participants who were caries-free at initial visit, age baseline visit can be used as a proxy degree of resistance; probability development tooth level decreased increased. Participants stayed longer period during childhood adolescence experienced less extensive caries, measured by number carious teeth. However, becoming caries-positive did not correlate with visit. For between 1 18 years age, there was “threshold age” after which child’s risk onset is significantly reduced.
