摘要: Abstract There is current interest in utilizing oxygenated biofuels such as carbonates blends with conventional oil-derived liquid fuels. Carbonates, commonly used electrolyte solvents Li-ion cells, could ignite after abusive operating conditions. Improving the kinetic modeling of oxidation these bio-derived oxygenates requires further investigation under well-controlled An experimental and detailed chemical study diethyl carbonate (DEC) combustion was performed. Experiments were carried out a jet stirred reactor over wide range equivalence ratios, temperatures, pressure. Mole fractions stable species measured at atmospheric Burning velocities DEC/air mixtures determined elevated temperature pressures ratios.
