Normative data and psychometric properties of the child behavior checklist and teacher rating form in an Iranian community sample

摘要: Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the normative data and psychometric properties parent teacher rating form child behavior checklist (CBCL) in an Iranian community sample. Methods: A sample 6-12 year old students randomly selected from ten elementary schools Tehran, Iran. parent's teacher's versions CBCL were accomplished. Clinical interview kiddie schedule for affective disorders schizophrenia – present lifetime version, Persian version (K-SADS-PL-PV) used evaluate validi ty cut-off point (TRF). Findings: Among 600 recruited with mean age 9.11 years (SD=1.45), 54.16% girls (n=325). Girls had significantly lower scores Attention Problems, Delinquent Behavior, Aggressive Externalizing Total Problems than boys (P<0.01). relation significant between Internalizing students' ages (β=0.124, P=0.002). Internal consistency, correlation among TRF scales, inter-rater correlations CBCL/TRF scales good high most indices subscale s. Based on receiver operating characteristics (ROC) analysis best convergences attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis, any disorders, ADHD+ODD diagnosis. sensitivities specificities subscales higher except Externalizing/ADHD+ oppositional defiant (ODD) which reverse. Conclusion: These results support multicultural findings. is a useful instrument consider ADHD samples.
