摘要: Scenarios provide a platform to explore the provision of ecosystem services under global change. Despite their relevance land-use policy, there is paucity such assessments, particularly in developing countries. Central Chile provides good example from Latin American realm as region has experienced rapid transformation natural landscapes urbanization and agricultural development. Local experts identified climate change, urbanization, fire regimes key drivers depicting plausible future trajectories change were developed assess combined effects on carbon storage, wine production, scenic beauty for year 2050. Across region, action reduced total amount storage (by 85) production 52) compared with baseline scenario, minor changes incurred beauty. The had declined by 90 28 when reaction changed was also taken into account. cumulative outcomes are likely place substantial pressures mid-century, revealing need stronger planning regulations manage © 2017 Elsevier B.V.
