摘要: Fluxes of energetic electrons up to 107 cm−2 sec−1 above 45 kev frequently appear in the tail geomagnetic out distances 31.5 earth radii. They characteristically occur as isolated patches, not directly attached other particle distributions around earth. It is shown that these particles are usually injected into regions space at least a few radii size an impulsive manner. The buildup time for fluxes fixed point typically minutes or less. then decay away times several hours, during which they may exhibit highly unstable behavior. frequency appearance has radial dependence rapidly falls off with increasing distance from earth's center. island sensitive activity but present low even quiet times. Their relation features distant radiation zone discussed.
