摘要: The present study provides a detailed overview of the contents conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) isomers in most consumed Portuguese CLA-rich foods (milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese, beef and lamb meat), by using silver ion-HPLC. In addition, contribution these ruminant-derived to daily intake CLA was estimated based on consumption habits. total concentration milk dairy products ranged from 4.00 mg/g fat yoghurt 7.22 and, regarding meats, 4.45 intensively produced 11.29 meat. predominant identified were cis-9, trans-11 (59.89-79.21 %) trans-7, cis-9 (8.04-20.20 %). average for population 73.70 mg/d. Milk cheese are probably two with highest final intake, as result their high content values. results also suggested that represented, with, respectively, 76.10 12.56 % intake. Being first report individual commercial foods, we further discuss implication diet characteristics human health.
