摘要: We explored the degree to which Bangladeshi farmers perceive Asian elephants (Elephas maximus) as agricultural pests, related type of farming and other demographic profile farmers. analysed size cropping patterns farms raided by wild elephants, extent nature crop loss, months crop-raiding time; elephants’ herds that caused incidents. The average loss entire crops increased with distance from park up 300 m then decreased greater distance. greatest due raiding was associated specific crops.
