MR-Guided Hypofractionated Radiotherapy: Current Emerging Data and Promising Perspectives for Localized Prostate Cancer.

摘要: In this review we summarize the currently available evidence about role of hybrid machines for MR-guided radiotherapy prostate stereotactic body radiotherapy. Given novelty technology, to date few data are accessible, but they all report very promising results in terms tolerability and preliminary clinical outcomes. Most studies highlight favorable impact on-board magnetic resonance imaging as a means improve target organs at risk identification with consequent advantage dosimetric results, which is expected relate more toxicity pattern. Still, longer treatment time per session may potentially affect patient's compliance treatment, although first quality life assessment have reported substantial no major on life. Finally, hypothesize some future scenarios further investigation, based possibility explore superior anatomy visualization daily adapted treatments provided by MR-Linacs.
